Crisis Diversion Services Co-Responder –This position is embedded within a local law enforcement agency. Co-Responders will respond within the community to calls received by law enforcement when behavioral health conditions are known or suspected as a motivating factor. This position entails supporting the behavioral health needs of individuals to increase services and supports available and in turn decrease the need for incarcerations or hospitalizations for those individuals.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in the human services field is required. Knowledge of law enforcement practices is preferred.
Hourly position: starting wage is $36,000/year.
