Greenwood County Caregivers Support Program

April 23 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 9:00 am on day Fourth of the month, repeating indefinitely

Family caregivers provide a vast array of emotional, financial, nursing, social, homemaking and other services on a daily or intermittent basis. Providing care to someone you love – whether full-time, part-time, or long distance – takes a huge toll, both physically and emotionally.

The Family Caregiver Support Program meets monthly at no cost to the caregivers. This program is designed for family caregivers to help reduce the overall level of stress associated with caregiver responsibilities and to improve the ability to cope in a very difficult but often rewarding situation. It helps to define the specific challenges caregivers face and provide resources and solutions to meet those challenges.
