Child Abuse Prevention Month

An event every year that begins at 12:00 am on of April, repeating indefinitely
The first step in helping abused or neglected children is learning to recognize the signs of child abuse and neglect. The presence of a single sign does not prove child abuse is occurring in a family, but a closer look at the situation may be warranted when these signs appear repeatedly or in combination.
During April, we bring awareness to prevent the abuse and neglect of our nation’s children” and includes all forms of abuse and neglect, whether physical, sexual, educational, or emotional or peer-peer abuse.
