WHEREAS, National Receptionists Day promotes recognition of receptionists, and

WHEREAS, Receptionists are the Directors of First Impressions for our company, and

WHEREAS, Receptionists represent our company to our customers and clients, and

WHEREAS, Our company strives to maintain a positive image and connections with our community, and

WHEREAS, Receptionists promote a vital sense of community within our company, and

WHEREAS, Receptionists play a critical role in communications to ensure our safety in case of emergency, and

WHEREAS, The National Receptionists Association has designated May 14, 2008 as National Receptionists Day.

May 14, 2008, National Receptionists Day on the second Wednesday of May was created to recognize the valuable contribution receptionists play in business. They are the front line personnel and are responsible for making a positive first impression for the company. This day is to gain recognition for the important function of receptionists in business, and  to promote professionalism, pride, and expertise within the profession.
