Grief Recovery meets the 1st Tuesday of each month from 5:30PM- 6:30PM at Four County Mental Health Center, (lower level) 3751 W. Main, Independence. Anyone who has been affected by loss, or seeking information with a desire to help others deal with grief are encouraged to enroll by contacting Sandy Swart or Tag Goodspeed at (620) 331-1748.

Grief Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 220 S. Penn Ave., Independence. This ongoing group is available for anyone whose life has been affected by the loss of a loved one and who wants to know how to help themselves or those they care about.
