  Administrative/Operations
  • Office Support Staff – Full-time opening in Independence.  A customer service focus and demonstrated ability to work in a network computer environment is essential.  The individual in this position provides support to the many direct service professionals employed by Four County.  Basic job duties often include general office tasks, filing, answering the phone, data entry, and scheduling. Microsoft experience is essential. Must have great communication skills and be customer service minded.  High School diploma or GED required. 2 years+ college preferred

Community Based Services  - Children
  • Director of Community Based Services – Full-time opening in Independence.  The Director of Community Based Services (CBS) oversees all functions of the CBS department, including supervision of all staff, staff trainings, utilization reviews, quality assurance, audits, reports and all other aspects of the department.  A Master’s Degree in psychology or social work, along with the accompanying required licensure, and 5 years of experience in the provision of children’s mental health services, or a related mental health field are required.

  • Support Staff Dispatcher – Full-time opening in Independence working in our children’s department as an office dispatcher for the Quest and Foundations program.  The dispatcher will  maintain an effective knowledge of the program and will provide support to the program coordinator and staff.  This includes understanding and demonstrating the ability to complete all required program paperwork.  General dispatch responsibilities to include effectively communicating program needs through various methods, to and from internal and external customers of the program, to maximize service delivery.  Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel with a minimum of 50 WPM and great customer service skills are a must.  High school diploma or equivalency certificate required.

  • Summer Program Aides – Multiple part-time, temporary positions based from different locations within the 4-County area (Independence, Coffeyville, Neodesha, Cherryvale).   Aide will work within a group setting with school-aged children (ages 5-21) of similar age.  Must be motivated to work in a highly active and recreational setting.  The program assists children and teens in developing pro-social skills that are necessary for everyday living.  Must be able to work independently and as a productive member of a team. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.  Must have a High School Diploma or GED, be 18 as of May 31st, 2014, and possess a good driving record.  Positions start mid-May, but applications need to be turned in by Spring Break for best consideration and interview opportunities.

  • Summer Program Support Staff – Part-time, temporary position working from Independence.  Support staff will aid the Summer Program staff with office/clerical work, phone calls, dispatching, data entry, etc. . . Clerical skills and office experience a plus.   Must have a High School Diploma or GED, be 18 as of May 31st, 2014, and possess a good driving record.

Community Support Services- Adults

  • Peer Support Specialist – Part-time opening in Independence.  MUST BE a recovering mental health patient. Help develop a network of information and support from others who have been through similar experiences to patients with severe and persistent mental illnesses.  Requires a high school diploma/GED and meet the State of Kansas qualification for Certified Peer Specialist by completing the CAP program or complete a 5 day training by WSU.

  • Attendant Care Worker – Part-time opening in the Independence area.  This position provides one-on-one support and supervision to clients and families in home and community settings using the strengths-based model of care. High School diploma or GED required.

Crisis Services
  • Crisis Services “Standby” Attendant Care – (2) Part-time openings in Independence. This position works directly with our patients in the roles of observation and transportation.  Crisis Standby Attendant Care should demonstrate interpersonal skills, have the ability to work with persons with mental and/or physical impairments, and possess the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations.  Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a High School Diploma or GED.

"Connections - Transportation Services
  • Transportation "Connections" Driver- (multiple) Temporary Summer driving positions in Independence and surrounding areas.  The driver will assist all customers on and off the vehicles and facilitate transportation to and from assigned destinations.  Must have effective verbal and written communication skills, possess demonstrated interpersonal skills, have the ability to work with elderly and disabled persons, possess the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations, and pass pre-employment screens. Driver’s license history must be acceptable to both our insurance company and KDOT regulations.  Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Active Partners - In Home Services & Home Health

  • Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nurse Aide (CNA): Part-time positions in both Wilson and Montgomery counties, working with individuals in need of home health services.  Must be 18 years of age or older; possess demonstrated interpersonal skills; have effective verbal and written communication skills; have the ability to work with elderly and disabled persons; possess the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations; and pass pre-employment screens. Must be able to work independently and as a productive member of a team.  Must have a High School Diploma or GED and have current State of Kansas certification for Home Health Aide
