Community Based Services
opening. This position provides one-on-one support and
supervision to clients and families in home and community
settings using the strengths-based model of care. Good
communication and teamwork skills are required, as this position
often coordinates with other treatment providers in the agency
who also provide services to these same patients. High School
diploma or GED required.
PRN Children's Respite Workers for Kids Konnections Program
- (Cowley) Part-time/PRN openings. Children's Respite Workers
are needed to work one-on-one in a home-like setting with
children 3 to 18 years old. Considered applicants must be at
least 21 years old. GED or high school diploma and at least two
years of paid experience in the Human Services Field or two
years of college course work in the field of human services.
Also acceptable is a combination of both paid Human Services
experience and college course work in the Human Services field
to the equivalent of two years.
- (Cowley) Multiple Part Time/Seasonal
positions available in our Cowley based
after school program. Positions require a valid driver’s
license, proof of auto insurance and minimum age of 18 with a
high school diploma or equivalent. Positions involve teaching
social skills in a group setting to patients ages 4-21 who have
mental health needs. Work schedule is 2:30-6:30pm
Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays.
Parent Support Specialist -
(Independence) Full-time opening.
consist of working with parents of children with Severe
Emotional Disturbance and helping to provide them support and
assist in getting access to needed services. Must be able to
effectively communicate and link parents with resources, provide
support and provide documentation for the clinical record.
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field, or
equivalent qualifications of work experience or a combination of
education and work experience.
Community Support Services-
Attendant Care -
(Independence) Full-time opening. This position provides
one-on-one support and supervision to patients with severe and
persistent mental illness in the activities of daily living or
in maintaining daily routines critical to a stable lifestyle.
This position also involves training patients in daily living
skills and monitoring patient progress towards meeting treatment
plan goals. High School diploma or GED required.
Adult Case Manager (CPST)
- (Independence) Full-time opening. Case manager is needed to
work with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
Involves flexible hours and travel within the county and
surrounding area (agency will reimburse for mileage). Must have
dependable and vehicle,
valid driver’s license, and driving record which meets
compliance with agency’s liability carrier’s driving
requirements. Position consists primarily of aiding
patients in accessing needed community resources. Bachelor’s
degree, four years of experience in the field of human services
or a combination of the two to the equivalent of four years is
required. Demonstrated familiarity with major forms of mental
illness including characteristics of severely and persistently
mentally ill adults preferred.
Night Attendant Care
(Independence) part-time opening. Seeking staff to work
8pm-8am on Mondays and Tuesdays or 8pm-8am on Wednesdays
and Thursdays. These positions provide one-on-one support and
supervision to patients with severe and persistent mental
illness in the activities of daily living or in maintaining
daily routines critical to a stable life style. This position
also involves training patients in daily living skills and
monitoring patient progress towards meeting treatment plan
goals. High School diploma or GED required.
Peer Support Specialist -
(Cowley) Part-Time Opening. This position helps patients
develop a network of information and support for patients with
mental illness. All applicants must have a high school diploma
or GED, have personal life experience receiving mental health
support services, reliable transportation and a good driving
record. Selected applicant will receive training and support in
becoming certified through the State of Kansas.
Connections - Transportation Services
Transportation "Connections" Drivers - (Cowley/Independence) Part-time openings for drivers to
transport people throughout the local communities. Must be 21
years of age or older. Must have the ability to work with
elderly and disabled persons and possess the ability to react
effectively in a wide variety of human service situations. High
School Diploma or GED required.
Applicants should also have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s
license, and driving record which meets compliance with agency’s
liability carrier’s driving requirements,
including the ability to drive all vehicle types owned and
operated by the agency.
Crisis Services “Standby” Attendant Care
– (Independence) Part-time openings. Works directly
with our patients in the roles of observation and
transportation. Crisis Standby Attendant Care should
skills, have the ability to work with persons with mental and/or
physical impairments, and possess the ability to react
effectively in a wide variety of human service situations. Must
be 18 years of age or older and possess a High School Diploma or
