  Administrative/Operations
  • Medical Services Receptionist- (Cowley) Full-time opening. This position consists of providing clerical support to the medical services department staff, scheduling and managing provider appointments and assisting in triaging incoming phone inquiries. Selected candidate should be able to work under pressure, exhibit sound judgment, be flexible and maintain a positive attitude while providing excellent customer service to agency patients and community partners. High School diploma or GED and two years of relevant experience in an office setting are required. Applicants should also have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and driving record which meets compliance with agency’s liability carrier’s driving requirements.

  • Maintenance Worker - (Independence) Full-time opening. Fulfills regular janitorial and maintenance needs of the agency. Selected applicant should possess a High school diploma or GED and have at least two years of building/grounds custodial or building maintenance, construction, or repair experience. Also required are a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license and good driving record
Community Based Services  - Children
  • Case Manager (Project Before) – (Coffeyville) Full-time opening. Project Before Case Manager will develop rapport with diverse families of the targeted population who have children in the home, age’s birth to 5. Must be able to function in a strengths-based model of care. Must be able to link families with resources, coordinate appropriate care/service provision, and provide documentation of services provided to family unit. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Early Childhood, or a related area OR four years equivalent experience in provision of services to children and families.
  • Community Day School Coordinator - (Cowley) Full-time opening for a therapist for the intensive day school treatment program. This position serves as the on-site program coordinator for the Community Day School and involves being a critical component of the treatment team with both educational and mental health professionals. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising some staff. Applicant must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a related counseling field and be currently licensed by the state of Kansas. Previous supervisory experience and work experience with SED youth is preferred
  • SEK Academy Therapist – (Independence) Full-time opening. SEK Academy is an alternative school for children diagnosed as SED. This therapist is responsible for providing outpatient treatment, evaluations, crisis assessment and intervention, and consultation for all aspects of SEK Academy. Requires a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited institution which provides graduate training in social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.  Potential applicants must be licensed or immediately eligible for licensure as an LMSW, LSCSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LCP, LPC, or LCPC in the State of Kansas. 

  • Children’s Services Coordinator (Cowley) - This position has the responsibility of coordinating children’s services programs and providing supervision to assigned staff. This includes (but is not limited to) referral process, treatment review, waiver program, staff acquisition, staff development, accessing ancillary resources and problem resolution as well as dealing with patient issues. Candidates should have a master’s degree from an accredited university which provides graduate training in psychology, social work, or a related field and be licensed or license eligible in the State of Kansas as an LMSW, LSCSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LCP, LPC, or LCPC.  

  • Case Manager (CPST) – (Cowley) – Full-time opening.  The CPST Case Manager works with children diagnosed as Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) and must be able to develop a therapeutic rapport with diverse individuals of the targeted population.  Must be able to assess and function in a strengths based model of care, and be able to link patients with resources, coordinate appropriate treatment and provide documentation for the clinical record.  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in the Human Services Field required.

  • After-School Program Aide -  (Independence, Coffeyville, Neodesha and Cherryvale) Multiple part-time openings.  Work within a group setting with school-aged children helping teach them life skills and problem solving.  Must have the ability to work with persons with severe and persistent mental illness. High School Diploma or GED required.

  • PRN Children's Respite Workers for Kids Konnections Program - (Cowley)  (4) Part-time/PRN openings.  Children's Respite Workers are needed to work one-on-one in a home-like setting with children 3 to 18 years old. Considered applicants must be at least 21 years old. GED or high school diploma and at least two years of paid experience in the Human Services Field or two years of college course work in the field of human services. Also acceptable is  a combination of both paid Human Services experience and college course work in the Human Services field to the equivalent of two years.

Community Support Services- Adults

  • Attendant Care- (Coffeyville)- 1 full-time opening. This position provides one-on-one support and supervision to patients with severe and persistent mental illness in the activities of daily living or in maintaining daily routines critical to a stable life style. This position also involves training patients in daily living skills and monitoring patient progress towards meeting treatment plan goals. High School diploma or GED required.

Clinical Services
  • Peer Recovery Mentor - (Independence and Cowley) (2) Part-Time openings. This position consists of helping develop a network of information and support for others who have been through similar experiences as patients with substance abuse disorders and/or mental illness, assisting patients in regaining the ability to make independent choices and play an active role in their own treatment and sharing and supporting the use of recovery tools. Selected applicant must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated personal recovery experience. Also required are a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Correctional Diversion Counselor - (Independence) Full-Time openings. This position consists of providing admission assessments and treatment to patients as well as providing case management services to both the mental health and substance abuse populations. Selected applicant must be licensed in the State of Kansas as an LAC, LCAC, LMSW, LSCSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LCP, LPC, or LCPC.
  • Outpatient Therapist and/or A&D Counselor – (2 - Independence/1 - Coffeyville) (3)  Full-time openings. The therapist is responsible for providing mental health treatment services and providing consultation services to individuals and organizations in the community. Requires a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited institution which provides graduate training in social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.  Potential applicants must be licensed or immediately eligible for licensure as an LMSW, LSCSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LCP, LPC, or LCPC in the State of Kansas.  For the A&D Counselor, an LAC or LCAC is required.  A combination therapist/A&D Counselor is preferred.

Crisis Services
  • Crisis Services “Standby” Attendant Care – (Independence and Cowley) (8) Part-time openings. This position works directly with our patients in the roles of observation and transportation.  Crisis Standby Attendant Care should demonstrate interpersonal skills, have the ability to work with persons with mental and/or physical impairments, and possess the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations.  Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a High School Diploma or GED.

Medical Services
  • Medical Services Nurse- (Cowley/Coffeyville) 2 full-time openings.  These positions entail managing provider schedules, administering and monitoring medications as directed by providers and providing medical assessments as assigned including awareness of medication side effects. Selected candidates should be able to work under pressure, exhibit sound judgment in crisis and routine situations, be flexible and maintain a positive attitude while providing excellent customer service to agency patients and community partners. Minimum acceptability criteria for these positions require successful completion of accredited nursing school program and being currently registered in the State of Kansas. Applicants should also have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and driving record which meets compliance with agency’s liability carrier’s driving requirements.

  • In-Home Service Coordinator- (Independence) 1 full-time opening. This position is responsible for providing vision for the agency’s In-Home Medical Services program and keeping agency mission and values at the forefront. Selected applicant will oversee departmental staff, documentation, finances, treatment and program planning while ensuring agency policy compliance. This position also entails providing some case management services to patients as well. Minimum qualifications included a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Human Services field and the ability to effectively provide leadership and supervision to staff.

  • Home Health Attendant - (Multiple Areas) Part-time positions.  Will work with individuals in need of home health services.  Must be 18 years of age or older; possess demonstrated interpersonal skills; have effective verbal and written communication skills; have the ability to work with elderly and disabled persons; possess the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations; and pass pre-employment screens. Must be able to work independently and as a productive member of a team. Current State of Kansas certification for Home Health Aid or Certified Nurses Aid helpful, but not required
