Administrative/Operations

·        Clerical Support – (Coffeyville) Full-time opening. Selected candidate will help cover the front desk by taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, etc.  Good office and customer services skills a must.  High School diploma or GED required.

Community Based Services  - Children

  • SEK Psychosocial Aide - (Independence) Full-Time Opening- This position entails working in a group setting with children and youth who have been diagnosed with a Severe Emotional Disturbance, providing supervision, structure and safety at all times. Also involves assisting patients in developing skills necessary to function and maintain in various community settings. High School Diploma or GED, dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license with good driving record required.

  • After-School Aides - (Independence/Coffeyville/Cowley) Multiple Part Time/Seasonal positions available in our Independence, Cowley and Coffeyville based after school programs.  Positions require a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.  Positions involve teaching social skills in a group setting to patients ages 4-21 who have mental health needs. Work schedule is 2:30-6:30pm Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays. 

  • PRN Children's Respite Workers for Kids Konnections Program - (Cowley)  (2) Part-time/PRN openings.  Children's Respite Workers are needed to work one-on-one in a home-like setting with children 3 to 18 years old. Considered applicants must be at least 21 years old. GED or high school diploma and at least two years of paid experience in the Human Services Field or two years of college course work in the field of human services. Also acceptable is  a combination of both paid Human Services experience and college course work in the Human Services field to the equivalent of two years.

Community Support Services- Adults

  • Night Attendant Care - (Independence) (2) part-time openings. Seeking staff to work 8pm-8am on Mondays and Tuesdays or 8pm-8am on Wednesdays and Thursdays. These positions provide one-on-one support and supervision to patients with severe and persistent mental illness in the activities of daily living or in maintaining daily routines critical to a stable life style. This position also involves training patients in daily living skills and monitoring patient progress towards meeting treatment plan goals. High School diploma or GED required.

  • Adult Case Manager (CPST) - (Independence)  Full-time opening. Case manager is needed to work with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Involves flexible hours and travel within the county and surrounding area (agency will reimburse for mileage). Must have dependable and vehicle, valid driver’s license, and driving record which meets compliance with agency’s liability carrier’s driving requirements. Position consists primarily of aiding patients in accessing needed community resources. Bachelor’s degree, four years of experience in the field of human services or a combination of the two to the equivalent of four years is required. Demonstrated familiarity with major forms of mental illness including characteristics of severely and persistently mentally ill adults preferred.

  • Attendant Care - (Coffeyville) full-time opening. This position provides one-on-one support and supervision to patients with severe and persistent mental illness in the activities of daily living or in maintaining daily routines critical to a stable life style. This position also involves training patients in daily living skills and monitoring patient progress towards meeting treatment plan goals. High School diploma or GED required.

  • Peer Support Specialist- (Cowley) Part-Time Opening. This position helps patients develop a network of information and support for patients with mental illness. All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, have personal life experience receiving mental health support services, reliable transportation and a good driving record. Selected applicant will receive training and support in becoming certified through the State of Kansas.

Clinical Services
  • Alcohol & Drug Counselor – (Cowley) Full-time opening. The counselor is responsible for providing alcohol and drug treatment services and providing consultation services to individuals and organizations in the community as needed. Potential applicants must be licensed or immediately eligible for licensure in Kansas as an LAC or LCAC. 

  • Community Health Center Integrated Care Therapist - (Coffeyville) Full-Time Opening. This therapist is responsible for providing mental health and/or alcohol and drug treatment services (individual, family, and group therapy) in a school setting as well as providing mental health consultation services to individuals and organizations in the community. Requires a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited institution which provides graduate training in social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.  Potential applicants must be licensed or immediately eligible for licensure as an LMSW, LSCSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LCP, LPC, or LCPC in the State of Kansas

Connections - Transportation Services

  • Transportation "Connections" Drivers - (Cowley/Independence)  Part-time openings for drivers to transport people throughout the local communities. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have the ability to work with elderly and disabled persons and possess the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations. High School Diploma or GED required. Applicants should also have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and driving record which meets compliance with agency’s liability carrier’s driving requirements, including the ability to drive all vehicle types owned and operated by the agency.

Crisis Services

  • Outpatient Therapist- (Independence) Part-time opening. An immediate opening for a licensed master’s level therapist working with adults and children for mental health treatment and crisis screenings in the Independence and Coffeyville offices.  Minimum requirements include a Kansas license (LMLP, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or LSCSW). Experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Crisis Services “Standby” Attendant Care – (Cowley) Part-time openings. This position works directly with our patients in the roles of observation and transportation.  Crisis Standby Attendant Care should demonstrate interpersonal skills, have the ability to work with persons with mental and/or physical impairments, and possess the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations.  Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a High School Diploma or GED.

Health Care Services

  • Home Health Attendant - (Multiple Areas) Part-time positions. Will work with individuals in need of home health services. Must be 18 years of age or older; possess demonstrated interpersonal skills; have effective verbal and written communication skills; have the ability to work with elderly and disabled persons; possess the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations; and pass pre-employment screens. Must be able to work independently and as a productive member of a team. Current State of Kansas certification for Home Health Aid or Certified Nurses Aid helpful, but not required.

  • Targeted Case Manager/Care Coordinator - (Independence) Full-Time opening. Responsible for coordinating the care of mental health patients as well as Health Home patients found to have a severe mental illness or a qualifying chronic health condition. Position entails documenting services provided, ensuring service compliance with required guidelines, assisting patients in coordinating their care, as well as assisting patients in achieving treatment goals. Seeking someone with a passion to help patients, who possesses strong verbal and written communications skills and is highly self-motivated and organized. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in the human services field is required.
